This is an interesting approach to education and marketing. Sun has posted a collection of videos shot at SC’06 that highlight and summarize products in its HPC offering. It’s like getting to visit the booth and talk to the company without actually having to fly anywhere.
Short, informative videos like this can be an effective way to get to consumers. Lots of vendors in many different fields are taking advantage of this approach, including a growing trend in the Life Sciences community to post stuff like this on YouTube.
