Supercomputing Online reported Monday about a new consortium aimed at accelerating the growth of HPC in Europe:
Bull, the French Atomic Energy Authority (CEA), German national HPC center HLRS, Intel and Quadrics today announced the creation of the TALOS alliance, aimed at accelerating the development of high-performance computing solutions in Europe.
The five founding members…are aiming to encourage the development of more open and powerful new technologies designed primarily for large-scale computing infrastructures and extensive server networks.
