UPDATE: SC07 Public Events Google Calendar

SC07Supercomputing 2007 is upon us! We are officially two weeks out from the November 10-16 conference on high performance computing technologies sponsored by the IEEE and ACM. As I previously posted, the folks at InsideHPC have created a Google calendar to keep track of all the exciting events of SC. We are continually updating the calendar with interesting events at and around SC07. We fully intend to include all the BOF sessions already listed on the SC07 website as well as many other exciting events surrounding the conference.

We are currently accepting submissions for your events. If your group has an event, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll add it to the calendar.

For those wishing to use the calendar, use the links below:

Are the times for the BoFs correct? I thought the two BoF sessions started at 12:15 and 5:30 … not 1:15 and 6:30.

It displays correctly as I login. There may be an issue with the time zones.

Confirmed: The calendar is set to PDT.

Yes — it is a timezone thing … google is doing the translation — so when you (in central time, I presume) put an item in a 12:15, it translates to 10:15 PDT, which shows up as 1:15 EDT when I look at it. Sometimes we get more help than we want …

Thanks for collecting everything for the calendar!
