Interactive Supercomputing Raises Series B Funding

Interactive Supercomputing received $11 million in Series B funding from current and new venture capital investors. Ascent Venture Partners [new to the group], Fletcher Spaght Ventures, Flagship Ventures, Rock Maple Ventures and CommonAngels jointly bring IS’s funding to a total of $18 million.

Star-P logoISC’s Star-P makes programming algorithms and software for high performance computers easier. Analysts, engineers and scientists can harness Star-P to solve their problems many times faster using any and all available computing resources. These folks are working on the world’s toughest problems, and Star-P has the potential to help them unleash a flood of new scientific and engineering discoveries.

The latest round of funding is being directed towards extending the StarP product into new markets as well as expanding the support for additional languages and libraries. Read the full release here.
