Verari announces Penryn-based blades

SC07: SC Online is carrying a news release from Verari this morning not yet featured on the company’s own website about their new VB1255 blade server

Verari Sytems logoWith two Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5400 Series processors, the VB1255 blade server is available with advanced features including expanded Intel Core microarchitecture with Intelligent Power Capability and dynamic acceleration technology that combine to deliver higher performance and performance per watt to workstation and HPC users. Each blade supports up to 64GB of fully buffered DDR2-800 ECC registered memory, making it ideal for large memory model applications and supports the latest operating systems including Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, SUSE Linux and Red Hat Linux.
