The DailyTech has picked up on iSuppli’s recently released 2007 preliminary ranking of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

The list ranks chip manufacturers by revenue and shows AMD sitting at position 11 after a 22.8% drop in revenue pushed it down from its 2006 rank at position 8.

Sony and Toshiba moved up on sales of the PlayStation 3 (Toshiba makes some of the electronics for the PS3).
