They’ve also just wrapped up Plugfest

On November 7-8, 2007 in Dupont, Wash., The Green Grid hosted its first Plugfest event for Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs). A Plugfest is a testing event run by an independent third party that provides vendors with the opportunity to evaluate their hardware against a specification. The PCI Express Active State Power Management (ASPM) Test Event hosted by The Green Grid marked the first time IHVs could test devices in the various power management states. As a result of the testing, IHVs received evaluations on how their components performed against existing ASPM specifications; the event sets the framework for these components to become more energy efficient moving forward.
