Luis W. Alvarez Fellowship in Computational Science

The National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) and the Computational Research Division at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory sponsor the Luis W. Alvarez Fellowship in Computational Science.

This fellowship allows recent graduates with a Ph.D. (or equivalent) to acquire further scientific training at one of the leading facilities for scientific computing and to develop professional maturity for independent research.

Applicants must be a recent graduate (within the past three years) with a strong emphasis on computing or computational science. The successful applicant will be compensated with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Applications are due by January 11, 2008 for Fall 2008.
