insideHPC is pleased to announce that we are now part of the Tabor Communications family, publishers of HPCwire and GRIDtoday.

As the crews at Tabor and insideHPC continue to work together to integrate what we’ve built here into the HPCwire family, we’ll keep you in the loop on changes to the site. We know we have been successful here solely because of your confidence and support, and we are all dedicated to ensuring that we don’t betray that confidence.

For now insideHPC will remain the stand-alone blog you’ve come to know and love. While there will undoubtedly be broader changes in the future, I’m confident that insideHPC will remain a source you can trust for HPC news. I’m genuinely excited by the opportunity we at insideHPC have to contribute to the binding force that Tabor brings to our community.

In the near term you won’t notice much change at all. If you look up and to the left you’ll notice that the title block on the blog now heralds this site as “A Tabor Publication,” and over to the right you’ll notice a link to HPCwire features (some of which are written by me as part of the weekly features I’ve been doing with them over the past several months). And we are fortunate to be able to bring the insideHPC team over during the transition. John, Andy, Dave, Chris, Michael, and I will keep posting as we have over the past 18 months.

As we make changes in the coming months I want to urge you to give me feedback about what you hate and what you love about what we are doing. And to take the opportunity to review the additional benefits, including free subscriptions, available to you now on the www.hpcwire.com website.
