A quickie. Since I mentioned that Cray had redone its web site a couple weeks ago, I wanted to point out that SGI has made some changes to modernize its web presence as well. The changes aren’t as obvious as Cray’s. I did notice that it was different, but I couldn’t put my finger on the specifics so I hit Google’s cache for a comparison.
Some reorganization, and the color scheme is more…well, I guess I’d use words like stately and professional…but the update definitely isn’t radical. One feature that I do like is the new video section, and I’m really glad to see SGI is highlighting its interactive media with this update (podcasts are also featured prominently in individual product subsections — see the sidebar on this page).
