Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Chelsio, today, announced that its Unified Wire adapters will now fully support the Microsoft Server 2008.  This support adds stateless NIC, TOW, iSCSI and clustering capabilities to the Windows environment.  They have also added support to their software stack for the new Microsoft Network Direct, Winsock Direct and TCP Chimney.  Network Direct is the new low-latency RDMA network API.

Full Unified Wire support for Window Server 2008 is a major milestone and a direct result of our long-term collaboration with Microsoft, said Kianoosh Naghshineh, president and CEO of Chelsio.  The promise of a converged network fabric begins with a unified wire, and we are pleased to be able to bring the full benefits to Windows-based data center and HPC environments.
