This time at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel & Resort! Sweet…this year’s theme is “Big Data in the Cloud.” The Swan and Dolphin were designed by postmodernist architect Michael Graves, and were being built when I was a co-op student at WDW Design and Engineering. I got to tour the hotels as they were being built, in my official D&E hardhat, complete with Jiminy Cricket standing inside a pair of dividers (yes, I still have it). The hotels really are something to see.

…Speakers are now being selected to discuss business, infrastructure and applications in the context of the intersection of HPC and Cloud Computing. HPC Horizons will feature discussions around implementation, use models and benefits in areas such as healthcare, gaming, entertainment, financial services, ultra-scale computing, supply chain analytics, social networking, energy, defense and surveillance.
