Fujitsu has made its way back on the Top500 list. Their latest system design, the Fujitsu FX1, put the company back on the list. The system is actually the first piece of a larger system in current development for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, JAXA. The eventual system will comprise 3,392 nodes with a theoretical peak of 135 Tflops. Once in production in April 2009, the system will be tasked with numerical sims for developing rockets and aircraft.
