NVIDIA Releases CUDA Version 2.1

NVIDIA has announced the availability of version 2.1 beta of its CUDA toolkit and SDK.  In response to the CUDA developer community, NVIDIA has released this beta version with support for Windows Vista and 32-bit debugger support for RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.x.

The new beta release also includes support for VisualStudio 2008 on Windows XP and Vista as well as Just-In-Time [JIT] compliation for applications dynamically generating CUDA kernels.  Several new APIs have been added for Direct3D version 9 and 10 [for interoperability with DirectX] as well as improvements related to OpenGL interoperability.
