H+L Architecture Named NCAR Design Firm

H+L Architecture has been named the design firm for the new National Center for Atmospheric Research [NCAR] facility in Wyoming.  The Denver-based firm will join the Gold River data center design group for the project.  Also named for the project is the RMH Group, Rumsey Engineers and Martin/Martin Inc.

We are pleased to be moving forward on this world-class, collaborative endeavor,” NCAR director Eric Barron said in a statement. “We are advancing an era of scientific progress and discovery through a partnership that will deliver top-notch resources to the world’s research community.”

Pending reviews and approval by the NSF, construction is slated to begin in December of this year.
