A quickie from Intel, announcing Q1 results:
Intel Corporation today reported first-quarter revenue of $7.1 billion, operating income of $670 million, net income of $647 million and earnings per share (EPS) of 11 cents.
This performance was well in excess of analyst forecasts of 3 cents per share, but less than half of what the company did in the same period last year (25 cents).
