Well, Greenpeace wants to tell you. They’ve launched the Cool IT Challenge, a “campaign to turn IT industry leaders into climate advocates and solution providers” according to the web site.

This website exposes the gap between what the IT industry could do to fight climate change, and what they’re doing today. As the leaderboard shows, there’s a long way to go (hint: They’re scored out of 100).

The results, right there in the left hand column of the web site, aren’t great. IBM, Dell, and Sun CEOs lead, but they only score in the twenties. Long way to go. Found via this link.
