SGI ICE Cube Deployment Video

sgi_newSGI has released a video detailing a recent ICE Cube containerized data center deployment.  Many of us have been privy to the various container-based data center designs floating amongst the various IT vendors.  Some of you many have had the chance to tour one at a conference or company event.  How exactly does one deploy such a thing?  Do they simply park it and toss you the keys?

Interestingly enough, the deployment process is an intricate ballet of hydraulics and hard hats.  Once the truck has been freed of its cargo, crews maneuver the container into place using air jacks and rollers.  I don’t want to spoil too much of your lunch hour, so you’ll have to watch the full video here.
