NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference is coming up, but there’s still time to make plans to attend. Here are some of the details from the site

nVidia logoThe GPU Technology Conference is the most significant event in 2009 dedicated to application development on the GPU. Encompassing three simultaneous summits, this event will focus on the latest breakthroughs developers, engineers, and researchers are achieving through the use of the graphics processing unit (GPU) to solve the world’s most important computing challenges.

The GPU Technology Conference will empower developers, engineers, researchers, as well as senior business executives and venture capitalists. Attendees will

  • Learn about the seismic shifts happening in computing
  • Preview disruptive technologies and emerging applications
  • Get tools and techniques to impact mission critical projects now
  • Network with experts and peers from across a broad range of fields

Supercomputing Super Session: A three-hour super session featuring some of the world’s premier supercomputing experts, including Wen-mei Hwu of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Satoshi Matsuoka of the Global Scientific Information and Computing Center of Tokyo Institute of Technology and the TSUBAME supercomputer, Jeff Vetter of Georgia Institute of Technology and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, John Tylor of CSIRO Division of Mathematical and Information Sciences and James Phillips of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
