Adaptive Computing puts Moab Adaptive HPC Suite on IBM gear

Adaptive Computing (formerly Cluster Resources) announced last week that they are going to offer both Moab Adaptive HPC Suite and Moab Adaptive Computing Suite on IBM’s System x, BladeCenter, and iDataPlex products.

As a fully qualified and supported option for IBM’s System Cluster 1350 solutions, Moab integrates IBM’s Extreme Cloud Administration Toolkit (xCAT) monitoring and provisioning manager with its intelligent policy-based governance capabilities. Together they deliver a unified intelligent operating environment that optimizes infrastructure efficiency and responsiveness to dynamically changing workload and organizational requirements. This reduces costs, improves service levels, and helps manage risk to ensure scalability and resource availability. Customers also benefit as administration of large clusters is simplified.
