The University of Wyoming trustees plan to meet this Friday to consider authorizing up to $750,000 for the climate-modeling supercomputer west of Cheyenne. Construction of the National Center for Atmospheric Research [NCAR] facility is expected to begin sometime next year. The trustees will consider whether to authorize funds from the university block grant to complete architectural and engineering work for the facility.
