Today we’re announcing a new (experimental) feature at the inside SC09 portal: an interactive timeline of events.
This timeline doesn’t feature everything going on at the conference. For that you should check out the SC Your Way site. Instead, we’re posting events that happen around the conference that you might not otherwise hear about, or specific tutorials and papers that our readers and friends let us know about that might be of special interest. Would you like your event featured here? Just send us an email.
To use the application (you’ll need to have Javascript enabled), just click and drag the timeline around until you find something you are interested in. Click on a specific event for more information and hyperlinks. Some users of IE (but not all) will find that clicking on an event appears to not create the popup window that shows the specific information for an event. These users will have to scroll their browser window to the right to see the popup; hopefully we’ll have a fix soon.
