IBM Pulls in Mellanox 10GbE Cards

MellanoxMellanox today announced that its ConnectX EN 10GbE adapter cards will be available directly from IBM.  IBM will include the ConnectX EN cards as an option on Cluster 1350 and iDataPlex systems.

The ConnectX EN 10GbE cards support a wide array of operating system choices, including Windows, Linux, VMWare ESX 4.0, Citrix XenServer and FreeBSD.  They also support Converged Enhanced Ethernet [CEE] and Fibre Channel over Ethernet [FCoE] standards.  For more info, read the full release here.
