IBM Selects Chelsio For Power System Servers

Chelsio has announced that they were selected by IBM to provide PCI-Express 10GbE adapter cards for the Power System server platforms.  Their adapters are now the default 10GbE adapter when configuring IBM Power6-based platforms running AIX and Linux.

Chelsio’s solution is uniquely capable of concurrently addressing high performance Ethernet iWARP, RDMA clustering and iSCSI solutions,” said Karl Duvalsaint, director of Integrated Systems Development for IBM Systems & Technology Group.“The flexibility of the Unified Wire technology fits well with the demanding and feature rich installations served by IBM Power servers.”
