Platform Computing, today, announced two new executive appointments. Jeffrey Galin was named vice president of sales for Platform ISF, the company’s private cloud management software. Phil Morris was named chief technology officer for the company’s high performance computing business unit.
Galin joined Platform from Certeon where he was VP of worldwide sales. He made his career rounds through Mazu Networks Inc, ViryaNet Software Inc, Precise Software, Veritas, Mercury Interactive and Compuware. Morris joins Platform from Sun Microsystems. He will lead the company’s overall technology strategy for HPC and cloud products as well as serve as an evangelist for Platform in the field.
