Spectra Logic Announces Move to New HQ in Boulder

Spectra Logic, today, announced that it would be expanding to a new worldwide headquarters facility in Boulder, CO.  The move to the new facility will take place in the spring of 2010 will allow Spectra’s employees to be located under a single roof, rather than being sprinkled between multiple buildings.  It will also give customers the ability to witness live product demos on a new data center floor.

he steady growth of Spectra Logic’s products in both the disk and enterprise storage markets, coupled with three years of profitability as a corporation, has positioned Spectra to make this move at a very strategic time,” said Nathan Thompson, Spectra Logic’s CEO and founder. “We were able to identify an excellent real estate investment opportunity that enables the company to now demonstrate its enterprise products in a world-class facility.”

The company has resided at their campus since 1983.  The new digs will be quite an upgrade, to the tune of 80,712 square feet.  Employees will be able to enjoy the new fitness center, cafeteria and exposed sunlight in every office!  Congrats to Spectra on the new expansion!  For more info, read their full release here.
