Fujitsu Demonstrates Next-Gen Super

Fujitsu announced this morning that they successfully demonstrated a prototype version of their next generation supercomputer yesterday.  This, despite a recent funding freeze by the Japanese government.  According to the brief release, Fujitsu has already developed a trial version of the CPU destined specifically for the platform.  Final plans for the machine call for 20,000 circuit boards and 80,000 CPUs.
