Vetter and Pennington to keynote SAAHPC, submissions due tomorrow

The fine folks at the 2010 Symposium on Application Accelerators in High Performance Computing (SAAHPC 2010) sent me a message to let me know that keynotes have been picked and a reminder that submissions are due tomorrow, May 4

  • Jeffrey S. Vetter, leader of the Future Technologies Group and the Experimental Computing Laboratory at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will speak on July 13.
  • Robert Pennington, a program director in the National Science Foundation’s Office of Cyberinfrastructure, will speak July 14.

Submissions for SAAHPC 2010 are due May 4. Authors also will be eligible to to submit their papers to a special issue of Elsevier’s Parallel Computing. For full submission details, see: http://saahpc.ncsa.illinois.edu/submit/.

SAAHPC 2010 will be held July 13-15 at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The symposium is sponsored by: the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, the Institute for Advanced Computing Applications and Technologies and the CUDA Center of Excellence (both at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), OpenFPGA, and the College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
