T-Platforms this morning announced a new line of high density blade systems based around the NVIDIA Fermi GPU silicon.  The official unveiling will be in San Jose this September during the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference.  As such,  they haven’t released a terrible amount of technical details.  Rest assured  if they’re making the trip to the GTC, it should be pretty cool.

The use of GPUs and CPUs together to dramatically accelerate HPC applications is no longer just a trend, but a paradigm shift that we are seeing across many industry segments,” said Andy Keane, General Manager of the Tesla business at NVIDIA. “T-Platforms’ innovative high compute density solutions will address the HPC industry’s rapidly growing demand for computing capability.

T-Platforms identified high-density computing systems based on GPGPU as the next logical step in system development for the HPC community. Expanding ISV roadmaps for GPGPU support, along with increased customer interest prove maturity of the technology and indicate great market potential of the upcoming high density product,” said Alexey Nechuyatov, Product Marketing Director, T-Platforms.
