University of Groningen Runs Bright Cluster Manager

Bright Computing today announced that the University of Groningen has selected their Bright Computing Manager to manage their new machine.  The 33TF cluster was delivered by Bright Computing reseller, ClusterVision.  Its currently the fastest in any Dutch university.

The new system includes 3280 AMD Opteron processor cores and 132 TeraByte of storage will be used by scientists at the university to boost research in various fields of science, including Informatics, Chemistry, Medicine and Genetics.  For more info, read their full release here.
