Our Video Sunday feature continues with this presentation by Adrian Cockcroft, Cloud Architect at Netflix. Recorded last week at the Cloud Computing Silicon Valley Group, the talk focuses on how Netflix is outsourcing the bulk of their IT to Amazon Web Services.
I really enjoyed hearing Adrian’s views on cloud computing. He was formerly the Chief HPC Architect at Sun Microsyems and he literally wrote the book on optimizing Solaris performance. More recently, he published a thought-provoking Open Letter to his Sun friends at Oracle.
