Off to Hamburg for ISC'11

I’m already on my way to Hamburg for ISC’11. Next week promises to be an amazing time for HPC, so here are the coming attractions:

HP-CAST, June 17-18. Hewlett-Packard Consortium for Advanced Scientific and Technical (HP-CAST) computing users group works to increase the capabilities of HP solutions for large-scale, scientific and technical computing. Videos from select sessions will be posted here over the weekend.

HPC Advisory Council European Workshop, June 19. The workshop will focus on HPC productivity, and advanced HPC topics and futures, and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates to discuss recent developments and future advancements in High-Performance Computing. Watch for video sessions here starting Sunday.

IDC HPC Breakfast Briefing, June 20. Watch this space for complete coverage from this special event presented by IDC’s Earl Joseph and Steve Conway.

DDN User Group Meeting, 12:00pm – 4:00pm CET on June 20. This event will be streamed live right here in insideHPC via Ustream. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with DDN executives and HPC industry luminaries on the challenges facing the HPC market today.

ISC’11 Exhibit Opener, 7:00pm CET. We’ve got the band back together, so watch for a special announcement from insideHPC.
