This week Citrix Systems announced it has acquired Cloud.com in a deal that will bolster the open source cloud computing market. Customers like GoDaddy use Cloud.com’s software to create cloud computing platforms for service providers, and with this deal Citrix gains an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offering plus a XenServer hypervisor.
