amd&#039;s phenom II and piledriver based multi-core (20) based opterons shall puncture through and through.
intels post ivy bridge chips shall bring in fresh air.

take note with multicore chips the performance of single microprocessors have taken slack with a 10 % growth in 5 years. As software has yet to catch up with multiple cores effectively and more so most of the cores are unused and unneeded.

there was a time before time where one would but an even more powerful system as the years progressed just to play that mp3 song, watch videos.

then one further would buy more power for just playing current gen games only to realize they will   enter obsolescence by mid next year.

But this isnt the case anymore with multi-core chips which have actually suppressed the domain of consumerism -- in a good way.</description>
