Asian HPC community visits Germany

“Having 2,403 attendees this year was very gratifying and it was also exciting to see so many members of the HPC community in Asia making the trip to Germany to join us,” said ISC Executive Director Martin Meuer.

Allinea Software were proud to attend the HPC in Asia event and took the opportunity to extend its connections with the Asian HPC community. In order to make the new features of Allinea DDT 3.2 accessible, they also had their product flyer available in Chinese and Japanese.

Allinea DDT 3.2 will make your life easier!

The forthcoming release of Allinea DDT 3.2 focuses once more on usability and progresses Allinea Software’s vision to create the industry’s most complete and integrated debugging toolset.

“Users will appreciate some of the changes we’ve made to improve the workflow and pace of debugging–timesavers such as the ability to reuse batch sessions launched from within Allinea DDT without having to resubmit to the queue and simplifying getting started by automatic MPI detection will open debugging up to more users quickly,” commented Dr. David Lecomber, CTO, Allinea Software.

Allinea Software to support Intel® Xeon® Phi™

Allinea Software announced early support for future Intel MIC architecture based Intel® Xeon® Phi™ products. This new technology represents a leap forward in performance and compatibility. With the ability to run over a trillion calculations per second, it is more important than ever to have an easy-to-use, scalable and dependable debugging toolkit–Allinea DDT.

“We are pleased that Allinea Software has developed support for the Intel MIC Architecture and will be a valued resource for users of supercomputer systems using this exciting architecture” said James Reinders, Director of Parallel Programming Evangelism at Intel. “The first products from the new Intel® Xeon® Phi™ product family bring a new capability to supercomputer performance and power efficiency without sacrificing programmability. Allinea Software highlights this by extending their popular solutions in a manner that is completely familiar to users on today’s Intel Xeon processor based systems.”
