This week NetApp announced that Whamcloud’s Chroma Enterprise management software is now available with the NetApp High-Performance Computing Solution for Lustre to help customers reduce management complexities. As a central management system, Chroma provides customers with a unified view of their Lustre storage environment.

For the Enterprise crowd, NetApp also announced that the company is now shipping Dynamic Disk Pools, a powerful new data protection technology that improves overall system performance and is available on big data solutions built on the NetApp E-Series platform.
