OFA Launches New User Mailing List for Sharing Know-How on Open Fabrics

This week the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) announced a new user mail-list for users of its open source software. Designed to facilitate interactions between users of OpenFabrics Software, whether new or experienced. Registration for this list is at http://lists.openfabrics.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/users.

The mail-list announcement comes on the heels of OFA’s recent “User Day 2012” at Argonne National Laboratory. The event provided OFS/OFED users with a new forum to share their knowledge, experience, and learn from each other tools and techniques for managing and operating their RDMA fabrics.

For the next users event, the OFA and IBM Zurich Research are hosting an OpenFabrics EMEIA User/Developer workshop in Ruschlikon, Switzerland on September 24, 25 with the goal of bringing together the users from Europe, Africa and the Middle East to form an OFA EMEIA user community and to foster their participation in the user mail-list
