The UK Many-Core Developer Conference 2012 (UKMAC 2012) has issued its Call for Speakers. Now in its fourth year, the event will take place at the University of Bristol on Dec. 5, 2012.

After much debate we have evolved the conference title to widen the focus beyond GPUs to embrace all aspects of many-core computing, and we invite speakers to offer presentations spanning the whole landscape of heterogeneous many-core computing. Topics of interest include high-performance computing, embedded and mobile systems, computational science, finance, computer vision and beyond. The goal of the event is to build the UK community of expertise, both industrial and academic.

One-page abstracts are due Nov. 9. Read the Full Story.
