Achieving productivity for parallel programming is still challenging. Programming models adopted by the HPC community often result in codes that are not very maintainable or portable. Chapel, an emerging language, offers multiresolution programming to address this challenge. The programmer can use high-level data and control structures and also specify their implementation details when desired.”
