This week Adaptive Computing announced the release of Moab HPC Suite 7.2 with enhancements to increase productivity as workload demands increase and introduces scheduling abilities for Intel Xeon Phi coprocessors.

With the amazing capabilities of the latest supercomputing coprocessors such as the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor, it’s vital to make it as simple as possible to integrate them into existing supercomputers,” noted Robert Clyde, CEO of Adaptive Computing. ”The latest iteration of Moab was designed to maximize the investment being made by today’s HPC providers. Adaptive is proud to offer Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor support in Moab, along with more efficient job scheduling, to allow users to make their systems more efficient even as they become more powerful.”

Additional enhancements include the ability to schedule dual-domain jobs for heterogeneous Cray systems, as well as the ability to automate periodic usage budget resets, and improved RPM-based deployments. Check out the Adaptive Computing booth #2643 at SC12. Read the Full Story.
