Video: DDN Powers Genomics at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute

In this video from SC12, Dr. Harold (Skip) Garner from the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute describes how Big Data I/O is required to crunch Genomics data in the fight against cancer. Working to bring personalized medicine to the masses, the Institute uses DDN storage to store and compare genomes in a high bandwidth configuration.
