Today OpenSFS published the full agenda for LUG 2013, the Lustre community’s annual user group meeting. The event will take place in San Diego April 16-18.

This year LUG will truly be a tour de force of Lustre developers, users and vendors. I am so impressed with the range of technical topics, with lots of focus and energy around what comes next. It’s very exciting to see,” said Norman Morse, CEO of OpenSFS. “If you’re involved in the Lustre community – or want to be – we hope to see you in San Diego!”

The Lustre community is celebrating one of biggest years ever for the open source file system, with multiple new Lustre installations worldwide and a new milestone installation that shattered the 1 TB/sec data access speed barrier. LUG 2013 will have presentations from key Lustre developers, eight different research institutes, nine different major hardware and software vendors, a case study in financial services, multiple OpenSFS working group meetings, and more.

LUG registration is set to close Friday, March 22. Read the Full Story.
