Today Xyratex announced that it ranks as the world’s #1 provider of OEM disk storage systems for the fifth consecutive year, according to a new report from IDC. The recently published report, entitled “Worldwide Disk Storage Systems 2012 Vendor Shares,” notes that Xyratex holds a 50.1 percent share of the OEM disk storage systems market, over 20 percent more than the second-ranked company on the list.
