Louisiana State University is seeking an Information Technology Analyst in our Job of the Week.
The HPC Systems Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, security, administration, and maintenance of SuperMIC and other HPC systems including but not limited to cluster systems, shared memory systems, storage systems, and visualization systems. Responsibilities include: Routine installation, management and upgrade of clusters, both hardware and software, Integrating SuperMIC to XSEDE and performing other integration activities; monitoring system logs and analyzing performance; security monitoring and patching; virtual image administration and monitoring; responding to unplanned system outages; lead other systems personnel with system deployments and management issues; support problem resolution, systems maintenance, and upgrades; leadership in providing problem resolution, technical support, and advice to personnel deploying or using services on HPC Unix and Linux systems.
