11th annual International OFS Developers’ Workshop

In the modern era, application performance and scalability is critically dependent on the network. OpenFabrics Software (OFS), based on Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) techniques, is the software architecture that unleashes the network, allowing applications to achieve maximum performance. This workshop is devoted to advancing the state of the art in open source server-based network software in pursuit of achieving new heights in application and middleware performance, scalability, and efficiency. The workshop brings software developers together with developers of key high-performance applications in an open, interactive forum to collectively guide the future evolution of these linchpin technologies.

The workshop kicks off with a key note talk followed by a reception Sunday evening, March 15. This is followed with two and half days of topic-specific discussions led by architects, developers, technologist and industry leaders.

UGWorkshopHeadGraphic2015 OFS User Group Workshop

The OpenFabrics Software User Group (formerly known as IBUG) will get together for a day and a half of training and discussions on administering systems built on OpenFabrics Software (OFS). This unique event brings together users of all types of RDMA technologies including InfiniBand, RoCE, and iWARP bundled in the OpenFabrics Software suite, providing them with a setting to talk together about the challenges and different opportunities using OFS.

This workshop kicks off Thursday, March 19. For those who would like introductory information on RDMA fabrics and their management, we will be offering novice sessions Wednesday afternoon.
