Nimbo in New York is seeking an HPC Engineer in our Job of the Week.
As an integral part of the Nimbo team, you can expect to be involved with a lot of different technologies – with the cloud at the center of our universe. You will do high-level solutions architecture and run strategy sessions, playing a trusted advisory role for with CIOs of Fortune 1000 companies. You will also be hands-on, implementing the solutions as part of a small project team.
In 2010, two technologists started a firm focused on the Cloud that is quickly becoming a leading provider of Enterprise Cloud Migration services. Just named Microsoft’s East Region Cloud Partner of the Year at MSFT’s World Partner Conference in Houston, we are continuing to build core capabilities across other platforms, like Amazon AWS, Google, IBM SmartCloud, and RackSpace. Complex custom application development is a big part of Nimbo’s value proposition, and we look for people who can bridge network engineering and web development worlds. As Microsoft’s launch partner for Integration as a Service, we put BizTalk in the cloud.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Extensive experience on C#
- Knowledge of HPC cluster deployment tools and scheduling tools
- Knowledge of Big Compute technologies such as HPC Server
- Experienced with capacity planning to ensure continuation of services
- Experience in Cloud, SaaS, IaaS environments
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- Strong, concise documentation skills
