New Seagate EVault BTA Appliance Backs Up to the Cloud

family-image-1Today Seagate announced a new backup device for large enterprises and service providers seeking data protection for multiple operating systems and appliances. Based on Seagate’s hybrid cloud model, the new Seagate EVault Backup Target Appliance is supports environments where both private (on-premise) and public (off-premise) storage is used. According to Seagate, it’s the only backup target appliance that enables backup to a private, public or partner cloud and features 65 TB of useable storage capacity, which is especially important for database administrators who want more control and increased flexibility to deploy backups.
