The Women in HPC Network will offer a half-day workshop at the ISC High Performance Conference in Frankfurt.
Building on the success of the first international workshop for Women in HPC at Supercomputing 2014 in New Orleans, our workshop at ISC will bring together female early career researchers with a focus on European participation, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their work and network with role-models and peers in an environment designed to reduce the stereotype of men dominating the field of HPC. The workshop will open with an introduction on current research by the Women in HPC network, what the current demographics of the HPC community are and the differences experienced by men and women in the field.
Call for papers
As part of the workshop WHPC invites submissions from female early career researchers (papers or posters) to present their work in a supportive environment that promotes the engagement of women in HPC research and applications, providing opportunities for peer to peer networking and the opportunity to interact with female role models.
