CIARA to Cool High Frequency Servers with Asetek

asetekToday Asetek announced that it has been selected by CIARA, a leading supplier of enterprise servers, storage and services, to liquid cool its High Frequency server line. Based on customer expectations, Asetek expects the business to generate revenues in excess of $1,000,000 USD per year with delivery scheduled to begin in the third quarter 2015.

It is a testament to our technology that CIARA has decided to select Asetek liquid cooling for their High Frequency Server product line,” said André Sloth Eriksen, Founder and CEO of Asetek. “We are thrilled to add a data center technology provider like CIARA to our growing list of customers.”

High Frequency Trading craves extreme performance to rapidly execute financial transactions. The trader has been replaced by high performance hardware, and the performance bottleneck becomes keeping the system cool. Asetek’s liquid cooling solutions will cool the intense temperatures of the world’s first 2U-2 Nodes High Frequency server, CIARA’s ORION HF 320D. Asetek’s technology will allow the servers to deliver maximum performance while staying safely within operating parameters.
