Stanford University is seeking an HPC Virtualization Specialist in our Job of the Week.
Do you have expert knowledge and experience configuring and supporting customized virtual computing environments, and associated storage & networking, for researchers? Then we’re looking for someone like you for our Research Computing Virtualization Specialist role. In this challenging position, you will collaborate with peers within and outside IT Services and Stanford researchers and their scientific teams. A significant amount of your time will be spent with research teams, supporting their use of the software and operating environment that you manage. You will also focus on proactive system administrator actions and interactions to reduce or remove barriers to clients’ efficient use of resources to advance research.
